Purchasing terms

The seller “Editions des Fées” does business upon and all orders are subject to acceptance of the following terms and information by the buyer on this site.

 

Ordering on this site

On this site there is an automatic registration system. The order forms filled by the customer are considered as a proof along with the content and date of the purchase. Upon ordering, we confirm to the customer the acceptance of the placed order by an email that the latter has communicated to us. We reserve the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of an order.

 

Delivery

When will I receive my order?

We are located in France and it usually takes 2-3 working days to process an order and to ship it. 

According to our local Post Office information for any expedition from France, the shipping time depends on your place of residence, and it can be estimated as follows:
● To all Europe: 5 – 10 working days
● To Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, UK : 3 – 5 working days
● To France: 2 – 4 working days
● To United States: 7 – 15 business days
● To Australia: 15 – 20 business days
● To Japan: 15 – 20 business days
● International: 15 – 20 business days

[Covid-19] When will I receive my order?
Our delivery times may be longer than usual and may continue to increase until things return to normal. We are seeing delays in our supply chain, including printing companies and carriers, as the entire industry faces challenges.

Where will my order be shipped from?
All items are prepared and packed in our own workshop and sent to our local post office for the expedition at Cruseilles in France.

 

I do not live in France, will customs fees be added?
Additional customs and tax fees may apply for international orders. These charges are beyond our control and are charged by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. So please check directly with your local customs office if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

 

My order should have arrived, but I still haven’t received it. What should I do ?
Before contacting us, please help us by doing the following:

● Check your shipping confirmation email for any errors in the shipping address
● Ask your local post office if they have your package
● Go to your neighbors in case the courier left the parcel to them. If the shipping address is correct and the package has not been dropped off at the post office or at your neighbor’s, contact us at   “contact@ editionsdesfees.com” as soon as possible indicating your order number and we will do our best to solve this problem.

 

How can I track my order?
Once the package has been delivered at the post office, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email with a link that will allow you to follow the various stages of delivery. If you have any questions regarding the tracking or shipping of your order, write to us at: [email protected].

 

I received an incorrect/damaged package by my local post office, what should I do?

We are very sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged! All products sent by Editions des Fées are carefully checked and packaged, but we have no control over the processing of orders by local post offices and transporters.

If your parcel is delivered directly to your mailbox or by your postman and is visibly damaged:
It is imperative to NOT open the package and go to your local post office to ask them for a damage report! If this is not requested on the day of your delivery, probably your local post office will refuse and therefore we will not be able to access any claim for compensation!

 

 

Returns and Refunds by Editions des Fées

When ordering, please pay attention to the items you order such as colors, size, quantity etc…
Due to the high cost of postage and the high rate of postal damage to returned items, we can no longer accept returns or exchanges of items that were purchased in error or simply the customer changed their mind about the order. If the order has been shipped, no cancellation can be accepted! Thank you for understanding.
We process and package every order with love and care! However, if your order is damaged or incorrect,  email us within 2 working days of receiving your order. Please keep all packaging materials and items in their original condition. Be prepared to provide high resolution photos of any damaged or incorrect item(s). We will review the photos and take the appropriate action. Without these elements, we will not be able to make any refund or exchange.
Refunds are only offered to customers who receive wrong or damaged items by us.
ATTENTION! If the item is incorrect or damaged, the refund or exchange will only be made when the customer has returned, accompanied by a letter, the product(s) concerned in the state and in the original packaging within 5 working days from the day of delivery. Shipping costs for returns for damage or error will be refunded to the customer provided that the return is made under the same shipping conditions as the delivery (packaging and protection of the item).

 
 

Stock Availability

If in rare cases an item ordered and paid for is out of stock, we reserve the right to cancel your order and a refund will be issued. However, in this case, we will contact you beforehand to inform you of this and ask you if you wish to be reimbursed by us or to exchange the item with another of the same price.

 
 

The Price

The prices of our articles are indicated by default in Euros (please convert the currency in order to see the price according to your location). The prices indicated on the products do not include packaging and transport costs. When ordering online, the total price indicated on the order confirmation and on the invoice, includes the price of the products, as well as transport and packaging costs. However, we reserve the right to modify the prices of the items on this site, without notice, particularly if there is an increase in production costs, packaging or typographical errors that have occurred on the site.

 
 

Payment

The price invoiced to the customer is the price indicated on the order confirmation sent by this site. 

We use the secure payment gateway of PayPal to process all our online order payments. During the order process you will be redirected to the PayPal site and servers in order your payment details to be kept safe by world class security measures. However, we reserve the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute.

You have two options to make your payment:

Using a PayPal account:

Simply enter your PayPal username and password directly on the PayPal website when prompted and follow the steps displayed on screen to complete the payment.

Without a PayPal account, using a credit or debit card:

PayPal is a major online merchant and you can make a payment without the need for a PayPal account.  Your payment can be made using a wide range of credit and debit cards directly on the PayPal website. Your card payment will be safe and secure using PayPal’s world class security.

To make a payment without a PayPal account please click the ‘Pay with Debit or Credit Card’ button as shown below on the Pay with PayPal screen and enter your payment details when prompted.

Disputes

The following contract is subject to French law.

  • We cannot be held responsible for damages of any kind, whether material, immaterial or bodily, which may result from improper use of the products marketed. The same applies to any modifications to the products resulting from the manufacturers.
  • Our liability will, in any case, be limited to the amount of the order and cannot be blamed for simple errors or omissions which may have persisted despite all the precautions taken in the presentation of the products.
  • In the event of difficulties upon the application of this contract, the buyer has the possibility, before any legal action, to seek an amicable solution, in particular with the help of a professional association in the branch, a consumer association or any other counsel of his choice.
    It is recalled that the search for an amicable solution does not interrupt the “short period” of the legal guarantee, nor the duration of the contractual guarantee.
  • It is recalled that as a general rule and subject to the judgment of the Courts, compliance with the provisions of this contract relating to the contractual guarantee assumes that the buyer honors his financial commitments to the seller.
  • Complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, good faith being always presumed in those who take the trouble to explain their situations.
  • In the event of a dispute, the customer will first contact the seller to obtain an amicable solution, before contacting the competent court.
